Instruction for authors
The manuscripts should not be published nor are being considered for publication elsewhere. The full-length papers of original research should no longer than 2500 words. Soft copy of Manuscripts (only in English language) in Microsoft Word format typed on 1.5 line spacing on A4 size with 2.54 cm margin on all sides, checked carefully for errors. Full manuscript must be sent after acceptance notification through email as an attachment to: [email protected] latest by 1st August 2018. Manuscripts that do not conform to the general format would be returned for re-typing.
Title
Contain only the title, authors’ names, address and e-mail indicating the corresponding author. A specific title less than 50 characters should be provided for running headlines.
Headings
Break the page into sections. Main headings should be in bold small letters and sub-headings are in small italic letters with the first capital letter. Avoid excess headings and subheadings. All should be left aligned, and the main headings are as follows:
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements
- References
Abstract
The abstract should be concise, should briefly indicate the experiments, describe the main results and state the important points. It should not exceed 300 words.
Keyword
Up to five keywords. Keywords should be separated by semi colon and end with a period. Do not use acronyms in the keywords.
Introduction
Include the objectives of the study justified by an essential background in content to relevant literature.
Materials and Method
Material and methods must describe materials used and procedure implemented for the data analysis. Provide complete reference when using standard method. Experimental design and statistical techniques applied for the data analysis are crucial and must be mentioned clearly.
Results and Discussion
Could either be combined or separated individually. The results should be presented concisely using tables or figures. Tables and figures should not be reproduced the same data and be typed on the final sheets. The discussion should be focused on the significance of the results.
Table
Tables must be self-explanatory, numbered consecutively and carry an appropriate title. Numerical results should be displayed as means with their relevant standard errors. Normally, a mean should be rounded to one-tenth of its standard error, and the standard error is given to one place of decimals more than the mean.
Figure
Figures should be restricted to display the results when a large number of values can be easily comprehended. A copy of the original diagram with lettering should be provided for editing purposes. Graphs generated by computer packages are acceptable when the above conditions are met. Computer graph is unacceptable when the lines are too thin for reduction, and that includes permanent lettering.
References
Responsibility for correct and complete citation of references lies with the author(s). In the text, a reference should be quoted by the author’s name and date. Where there are three or more authors, the first name followed by et al. should be used, unless there is ambiguity, in which all names should be given at each occurrence.
